3.6 неиспользованная кодированная карта (unused encoded card): Карта в соответствии с 3.5, которую подвергли лишь кодированию всеми данными, необходимыми для ее использования согласно назначению (например, магнитному кодированию, печати и т.д.)1).

1) Определения, используемые в стандартах серии ИСО/МЭК 7811, относятся к тиснению и электронному кодированию, которые не предусмотрены в стандартах серии ИСО/МЭК 15457. Однако печать при выпуске (в противоположность предварительной печати) часто сопутствует магнитному кодированию в областях применения тонких гибких карт.
